Phillip Gross
Staff Associate
Phillip Gross joined FMD in December 2021 and works as a staff accountant. He is studying for his Master of Science in Accountancy at Walsh College and will pursue his CPA license after graduation. While working at FMD he is gaining experience in, tax planning and compliance, financial statement preparation, and auditing.
Before studying accounting, Phillip received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Michigan State University and spent almost a decade working in scientific laboratories in Michigan, Georgia, and Oklahoma. With a strong scientific background, Phillip is able to help clients translate biomedical- and research-related financial obstacles into actionable accounting and tax strategies.
When not in the office, Phillip enjoys spending time with his family, playing board games, reading, and watching movies. He is also a student member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
