Technology Manager
Michael is an experienced IT professional with 23 years in systems and network administration, currently working as an IT Manager in a largely hands-on technical role. While his title includes management responsibilities, his primary focus is on building, maintaining, and improving the infrastructure that keeps software and data solutions running reliably and securely. Michael is a practical, solutions-focused problem solver who values efficiency, reliability, and continuous improvement.
His background includes extensive work with VDI solutions, Microsoft 365, SQL development, Windows-based networking, RMM deployment and automation, and a variety of hypervisor and backup solutions. Throughout his career, he has supported and evolved IT environments to meet evolving business needs while maintaining a strong focus on performance and stability.
Security is a core component of Michael’s approach to IT. Mike stays up to date on emerging threats, industry trends, and best practices, applying that knowledge to strengthen systems and reduce risk. He also works closely with staff to improve their understanding of secure technology use, reinforcing practical, real-world security awareness. He believes that informed users are a critical part of a strong overall security posture.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys outdoor activities such as kayaking, camping, and traveling, which help him stay balanced and bring curiosity and adaptability into his professional life.
