Chelsea Ghering
Senior Associate
Chelsea joined FMD in October 2019 as an accounting intern. Since then, she has gained experience with both corporate and individual tax compliance, financial statement preparation, and employee benefit plan audits. Additionally, she brings to FMD a knowledge of private accounting practices in the construction and service industry, including cost management and accounts receivable efficiencies. Before beginning her career in accounting, she spent many years working for a large plant nursery, gaining valuable knowledge into the inner workings of the business. Her vast experience with different industries along with her understanding of common business practices bring value to her role with FMD.
Chelsea graduated in April 2021 from Oakland University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She is currently working on her CPA designation.
In her free time, Chelsea enjoys outdoor activities including hiking, camping, biking, and running. She also loves to read and spend time with family.
