Mr. Patterson has more than 30 years of experience in public accounting and is a Partner of the firm. He specializes in assisting entrepreneurial privately-held for-profit business owners with their accounting, tax, and business consulting needs. He assists his business clients with their personal tax matters. Dan also advises on personal income tax, estate tax, and business transition/succession planning. He has represented many clients with business acquisitions and disposals from both the buy-side and sell-side. He also works with several Non-Profit Business Associations and Private Foundations.
Dan has deep industry expertise in Manufacturing, Dealerships (Auto/Truck, Motorcycle/Motorsports, Construction Equip. & Marine), Professional and IT Services firms, and many other industries.
Mr. Patterson is a graduate of The University of Michigan - Dearborn with a Bachelor of Science in Administration (Public Accounting) Degree. He is a licensed CPA in the State of Michigan.
Dan is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. He is also an active Board Member of The Bethany Anne Galdes Foundation and a former Board Member of The University of Michigan-Dearborn Alumni Society Board. Dan is a long-time member of the Detroit Athletic Club, an affiliate member of the Michigan Automobile Dealer Association (MADA), a Strategic Alliance Partner of the Entrepreneur’s Organization - Detroit, a member of the Sunrise Networking Group, a member and firm representative of The Driving Force Auto Dealer Consulting Group, LLC, and is active with the Detroit Auto Dealers Association (DADA).
