Stephanie joined Fenner, Melstrom & Dooling, PLC in October of 2016 and has since then built close working relationships with her colleagues and clients as well as her client’s bookkeepers, controllers, CFOs, and executive boards. She understands that these relationships are necessary to be able to provide the highest level of professional service possible, and she is very passionate about working alongside her clients and their teams to achieve their entrepreneurial objectives.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Michigan University, along with a Certified Public Accounting License through the State of Michigan. She works with several closely-held, for-profit companies providing consulting, tax, and financial statement preparation services. She has a great deal of experience with various types of business structures such as flow-through entities and C Corporations. She enjoys taking a comprehensive approach in her client’s businesses through her involvement in the business formation planning, tracking annual activity, preparation of adjusted year-end trial balances, financial statement preparation, and the planning and preparation of all associated business and individual tax returns.
Stephanie is actively involved in various professional organizations, including: the Detroit NextGen chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), Inforum (“a professional women’s alliance”), the ProYou committee of Integra International, and the Young Professionals chapter of the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce. She also volunteers at Birmingham Covington School as a coach for Girls on the Run (Detroit chapter).
In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys teaching group fitness classes at Powerhouse Gym in Birmingham, working out and trying out new gyms and fitness classes herself, playing slow-pitch co-ed softball, attending concerts, and spending quality time with her loved ones and friends (especially somewhere near or on water!)
